| Measuring 13-1/2 long, 10" wide, 6-1/2" high, the #758 Pony Chime was Fisher Price’s first version of this toy issued in 1948. A single wooden circus pony pulls a metal cylinder with wooden wheels. When the toy is pulled, the cylinder makes a chime sound. Please be sure to view all the images provided to assist your assessment of this example. The decals are in nice condition, all parts of the toy are present. The decal on one of the side wheels has begun to separate from the wooden wheel itself. The toy obviously was played with and loved, then stored with care in a local estate. The chime cylinder has a couple of minor dents and some soil. The edges of the white wooden pony are also soiled. Overall this is a working example of a scarce and desirable vintage Fisher Price toy. |
