From a fine collection comes this creative set, a representation of Davy Crocket as a young child wearing a diaper and toting a big rifle. Excuse the glare in the image, unavoidable due to the shiny, reflective glaze on the pottery. These measure 3.25" tall and are free from any chips or cracks. There are real safety pins inserted in the pottery diapers. The bottoms are flat and unglazed with labels on each over the holes which advise the use of tape over the opening after filling. There is no other mark. Experience dictates that these might indeed be California pottery although it's impossible to know for sure without any labeling or marks as to origin.
