Popularized in the 1920s, Bonzo the Dog was created by artist George Studdy. Bonzo's popularity inspired extensive product lines. A vast array of different salt and pepper sets were produced. This wonderful set measures 2.75" tall. It's in excellent condition, free from any chips or cracks, original corks present, marked underneath with a red ink stamp "Made in Japan". Shiny lusterware produces a lot of glare in the image. |
