This striking antique black art has survived in excellent condition, having been preserved over the last 170 years with great care. It is hand lettered and hand colored in vivid, striking brilliance. The overall size is about 15 x 10 3/8". It is un trimmed with a lightly embossed edge. There is some expected age toning, one 1/2" tear at the right edge in the border. The splash of blue ink is most likely original to the hand coloring as the same ink is present in the image.
