This late nineteenth-century English translation of La Fontaine"s Fables contains 88 full page illustrations. This book is in excellent condition. The edges of the boards show wear, the pages are clean tight and intact. A pencil signature of a previous owner "Mrs. Grace J." is on the front end paper. That page is chipped in the upper right hand corner. One page has a tiny tear at the edge. Overall, this is quite a rare find in very desirable condition |
