1917 Knox Gelatin Premium Recipe Book Black Americana Baby Chef Cover
Knox Gelatine, early 1900s Premium Recipe Book with detailed colorful graphics on high quality glossy pages. Knox's then logoo was a pair of baby chefs, one blonde and one charcoal, clad only in aprons and large chef's hats present huge gelatin molds. The book is 4.8" x 6.75", has 37 pages. There is some discoloration near the staples which hold the book together, and some minor tattering of the right hand side. This is visible in the photo. The cover has the worst of this, it diminishes inside the book. There are various spots of discoloration throughout the book. The finished recipes are in full color and appear most appetizing. Beautiful colorful antique art throughout!
