Ransom's Family Receipt Book 1887 "Free to Everyone" - published by D.Ransom, Son & Co., Buffalo, N.Y. Medicine advertising, interspersed with recipes, 4" x 6.5", 32 pages, some minor soil to front cover as you can see. Someone has put a string through the upper left hand corner of the book. Although the pages are a bit brittle, with some very slight chips, overall condition is remarkable, clean, tight and intact inside. You will be amused by the medicines such as Trask's Magnetic Ointment, and Dr. Ransom's Hive Syrup and their amazing cure-all claims!
