| 1937 Disney Ugly Duckling Animation Model Sheet. Vintage Animation Art Silly Symphony model sheet 12.5" x 10". This model sheet is from the Disney Studio in 1937. This is a photocopy made in 1937 for the number of animators at that time. Wonderful images of The Ugly Duckling, Marked "R S -8 copyright Walt Disney Prod. in the upper center. A box to the left bottom with "Dircetor, Story, Animator, ....". Excellent condition. This comes with a photocopy of a note as to the origin of this sheet. "Dear Judy, These Model sheet were "in house" controls to aid animators to draw each character similarly. I got most of them by swapping with other Disney employees who brought them home....." the note continues with reference to early sculptured Machettes. Signed "Laurie". A wonderful piece of Vintage Disneyana! |
