| 1937 Disney Ferdinand Animation Model Sheet. Vintage Animation Art "The 5 Men with the Funny Hats" from the Story of Ferdinand model sheet 12.5" x 10". This model sheet is from the Disney Studio in 1937. This is a photocopy made in 1937 for the number of animators at that time. Marked "R S -9 copyright Walt Disney Prod. A box with "Director, Story, Animator, Layout ....". This comes with a photocopy of a note as to the origin of this sheet. "Dear Judy, These Model sheet were "in house" controls to aid animators to draw each character similarly. I got most of them by swapping with other Disney employees who brought them home....." the note continues with reference to early sculptured Machettes. Signed "Laurie". A wonderful piece of Vintage Disneyana! |
