1917 Royal Gem Wooden Cigar Box. Wonderful clean and clear image on the box lid of this vintage cigar box. The label is copyright 1903 American Lithographic Company. The box is tightly hinged, 8.75" x 5" x 2.37" in excellent condition. The end label has a piece out of the center as shown. The remnant of the revenue tax stamp indicates 1917, and there is a Cigar Union label. This box originated at Factory No. 179 12th District of Pa. and held 50 class "B" Cigars.
